If you lead a group
People rarely announce that they are drifting out of a group. They miss a week, then say yes and don’t come, then go quiet. Emberside puts that in one place — Dave, quiet for three weeks, Caleb, said yes to the last four and did not make it — so you notice in August rather than in November.

If your church runs several groups
That is the whole dashboard, and it is deliberate. Staff can see that the Tuesday group has fourteen people and nobody drifting, and that another has four who have gone quiet — which is enough to know where to send help.
They cannot open a prayer request, read one line of anyone’s chat, or see the roster. Not with a setting, not as an owner, not at all — the database refuses it.
Handover
A leader who steps down has to name someone first — the app will not let twelve people be left with nobody able to run the group. A church can take a group off its licence, and the group keeps every request and every message it ever wrote.
For churches
